Schneider Saddlery is accepting applications for an opening on our Retail Sales team! As a Retail Store Sales Associate, you are a brand ambassador - spending your days supporting our customers by providing product knowledge and helpful advice.  We offer a supportive and horse-loving environment, generous employee discount, product stipend, and more! You’ll love interacting with the local equestrian community and equipping customers and their horses with our amazing product.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide outstanding customer service to customers by greeting them in a welcoming manner, sharing product knowledge, responding to questions, making product recommendations, and highlighting sales, promotions, and events.
• Document and process sales and transactions.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Assist with store events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive equestrian experience and knowledge of equestrian products
• Availability that includes at least one weekend day
• A focus on customer experience and satisfaction
• A positive and team-oriented disposition
• Verbal and written communication skills and basic math skills
• Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods of time, to climb steps and ladders and to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting pay at $15.00/hour.
